Educational and fun with safety in mind

There is a lot to learn but the course is designed to be somewhat flexible.  I have many years of motorcycle riding, teaching, and instructional experience from which you will benefit from.  Safety is always a foremost consideration but you will have fun and be surprised at how much you learn.  Often the class size consists of one or two students but never more than three.  I will try to work around your availability so together we may be able to schedule your lessons to suit your needs.

The full course is divided into three main sections

The THEORY COURSE will give you the information you need to stay safe out on the open road.  In order to protect yourself you will learn how to think while riding your motorcycle and how to watch out for and avoid the various hazards encountered in everyday traffic.

The SKILLS COURSE will teach you the riding control of the motorcycle which includes steering, balance, brake use, and throttle and clutch control.  This part of the course is conducted off road and prepares you for the Motorcycle Skills Test.

The TRAFFIC COURSE will prepare you for your final road test.  You will learn all the aspects of street riding including hazard perception and avoidance, observation, proper lane position, intersection manoeuvres, and much more.

What do I need to get started?

The first thing you need to do is get your motorcycle learners licence.  Training cannot commence otherwise.  Booking your road test date will depend on when you obtained your learners licence.  ICBC requires you to wait a minimum of 30 days from when you first get your learners licence before you can do the final road test.  The Motorcycle Skills Test (Assessment) can be done by 2wheel 2ition anytime after you complete the Theory and the Skills section of the course but the final road test must be through ICBC.  There will be a $50.00 charge from ICBC to do the final road test.

I will supply the motorcycle, helmet and gloves.

Next, call me and lets start riding.
